Our Family
- The Nelson's
- Adam and I have been married for 5 years and our little boy Grant is two. We feel so blessed to have Grant in our lives -he is such a character always making us laugh and keeping things in perspective for us. Adam works for a mergers and acquisitions firm in Salt Lake, and I am a development officer at the University of Utah. We enjoy spending time outdoors, four-wheeling, spending time with family, traveling, all sports, and just hanging out and having a good time!

All About Grant
- One day Grant wasn't listening to me, and I got after him and gave him the old "Grant Matthew Nelson!" He looked right back at me and said in an annoyed voice: "Mommy Matthew Nelson!"
- One day when Adam's parents came to visit us recently, Grant was pretend cooking and sharing his pretend apples with all of us. When MorMor (Solveig) asked Grant for a taste, he looked at her, and shoved his pretend apple in his mouth. She pretended to be sad, so he took the pretend apple out of his mouth and gave it to her. It was adorable!
- He is currently into Jungle Book and Peter Pan. He marches and counts like the elephants on Jungle Book.
- Our child is completely addicted to chocolate milk! We blame Grandma Carolyn for that one!
- Grant is a signing baby. He can sign about thirty words, but his favorites are cookie, candy, and milk.
- One weird thing, Grant went through a phase for about a month where he wanted to sleep with a bowl. We don't get that one, but it sure makes us laugh!
- Grant loves to help, especially with the cooking and cleaning.
- Grant loves his stuffed dog, bear and Elmo. All three have to be in his crib with him each night.

Two posts in one month! How fun!
It was so good to see you the other day. I kept looking for you after the bounce house, but you must have left right after. I can't believe how much Grant looks like Adam. What a cutie!
I am so jealous of how beautiful it is there! We don't get the experience season's and I really miss it. I can't believe your little Grant is getting so big and adorable :)
